Δ Χ Chapter of Alpha Phi Delta (APD) was founded at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001, and received its charter in 2003 as the national fraternity's first chapter west of the Mississippi River. Since its founding, APD has remained one of the University of Colorado's most unique fraternities, embodying its pillars of brotherhood, serving Colorado's communities and the university.

Alpha Phi Delta is a national Italian heritage fraternity, established in 1914 at Syracuse University, sustaining a commitment to American values and cultural diversity that remains strong today. Currently APD nationally has active chapters and colonies at nearly 40 colleges and university and more than 30 alumni organizations.
